Container labels are designed to be glued over the lid of containers. They are a very suitable alternative to the often‐used steam tapes. The advantage is that they don’t leave any residue so containers and their lids are easily cleaned. Container labels are having steam process indicators by which one can differentiate sterilized and non‐sterilized containers.
